In the second quarter of 2021, Brazil's tabletop board game apps saw diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here's a look at how the top five apps performed on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Chess - Play & Learn experienced fluctuating download numbers starting from around 37K in late March and decreasing to 18K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also showed a downward trend, from approximately 220K to 165K in the same period.
Moonfrog's Ludo Club・Fun Dice Board Game downloads began at 83K and saw a gradual decline to 63K by the end of Q2. However, weekly active users peaked at 239K in mid-May before falling to around 195K.
Gameberry Labs' Parchisi STAR had a steady download range between 13K and 9K throughout the quarter. The active users count saw a high of 357K in late April, which gradually decreased to just over 311K by late June.
Backgammon - Lord of the Board by Beach Bum Ltd showed a significant drop in downloads, starting at 108 in late March and falling to zero by the end of June. Weekly active users exhibited a slight decline, starting at around 3K and ending the quarter at 2.4K.
Lastly, Ludo STAR, also from Gameberry Labs, saw its downloads decrease from 10K to 6K. Its weekly active users, however, showed a slight increase from 16K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 17K at the end.
